Difference between LNG, LPG and NGL

✅ LNG — Liquefied Natural Gas, is gas that has been Liquified at very low temp. and is transported as a liquid. It’s Primarily methane ,NG is a mixture of HC which, when liquefied, form a clear colorless, odorless liquid; it’s usually transported and stored at a temp. very close to its boiling point at atmospheric pressure (~ -160), The actual composition of LNG will vary depending on its source and on the liquefaction process, but in all cases the major is methane with small percentages of the heavier HC such as ethane, propane, butane and pentane ,N2 may be present.  ✅ LPG — Liquefied Petroleum Gas gas that is liquid near room temperature and at some extent of pressure. This product has very little methane and butane and is primarily propane (C3),LPG is more dense (has a higher specific gravity) than natural gas ,Their common characteristic is that they can be compressed into liquid at relatively low pressures ,The two most common LPG constitutes are Propane and Butan...

What About Cooling Tower? Types Of Cooling Tower.

❄ ️ Cooling Tower is basically a heat rejection devise or heat exchanger in which water and air are brought into contact with the purpose of lowering the temperature of the water. It’s not surprising that cooling tower technology lends itself to many applications including refineries, power plants, natural gas processing plants, and commercial HVAC systems.  ❄ ️ Despite the fact that the basic cooling tower operating concept is easy to grasp, simply air interacting with water, like any other form of machinery proper maintenance, is required for optimal performance. Even so, problems can develop and troubleshooting and the repair will be required..........................................................                                         PLEASE READ MORE..... Conservation Vent Valve

## Conservation Vent Valve is a device designed to maintain pressure within preset limits in a liquid-containing vessel for the purpose of emissions reduction. It also provides protection against excessive pressure or vacuum.  Because of its primary function, a pressure/vacuum valve is commonly referred to as a breather valve or “Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valve (PVRV)“.  * it’s a protection device mounted on a nozzle opening on the top of a fixed roof atmospheric storage tank.  *🔩 It’s to protect tanks against rupturing or imploding. Without an opening or a controlled opening, a fixed roof atmospheric tank would rupture under increasing pressure caused by pumping liquid into the tank or as a result of vapor pressure changes caused by severe thermal changes. Imploding, or the collapsing of a tank, occurs during the pumping out procedure or thermal changes. * It’s employed where it is necessary or desirable to reduce evaporation of tank contents to atmo...

Why do we use deaerators?...

Boiler Feed Water Treatment  :   The process through which the dissolved gases are removed from water is called "Deaeration". The equipment, which is used in this method, is called "Deaerator".  Why do we use deaerators?...  Deaeration process is generally used to control corrosion in specific systems. The presence of dissolved gases, particularly oxygen and carbon dioxide, causes accelerated corrosion. The dissolved carbon dioxide in water forms a weak carbonic acid which attacks the metal in feed systems, boiler or condensate system. One of the most serious aspects of oxygen corrosion is that it occurs as pitting. https://lnkd.in/gHAyyrV PLEASE READ MORE..... Industrial Catalyst And Classification. General Checklist List the Essential Steps and precautions for Pre start and Starting up the Centrifugal Pumps

As General Checklist List the Essential Steps and  for Pre start and Starting up the Centrifugal Pumps ⁉ ️   ️  What’s the things you Should be attention physically ⁉ ✅ General centrifugal pump start up procedure:-  Before pump start-up you must perform these tasks:-  1️⃣ Open the suction valve , do priming by venting all the air inside the suction line by opening any vent or even the PG vent till liquid coming out then close , now you confirm no air inside the system to reduce the chances of pump getting cavitation 2️⃣ Open any recirculation or cooling lines. 3️⃣ Fully close or partially open the discharge valve, depending on system conditions.  4️⃣ Start the driver. 5️⃣ Slowly open the discharge valve until the pump reaches the desired flow.  6️⃣ Check the pressure gauge to ensure that the pump quickly reaches the correct discharge pressure.  7️⃣ If the pump fail to reach the correct pressure, perform...

Why Static Charge Is Dangerous In Industrial Or Manufacturing Industries.

⚠️ A common ignition source within Petrochemical, sparks resulting from static charge buildup and sudden discharge of it. 〽 ️ Electrostatic discharge occurs when two materials at different potentials or polarities come close enough together to generate a charge transfer. In an explosive environment, this sudden transfer of charges may be energetic enough to be an ignition source. ⚠️ Major Industrial Sources of Static electricity are:-  (a) The use of power, or conveyor belts in which non-conductive materials move over or between pulleys and rollers.  (b) Pulverized materials or dust passing through chutes or being conveyed pneumatically.  (c) The flow of fluids through pipes or conduits, or from orifices into tanks or containers. (d) The flow of gases from orifices.  (e) The use of rubber-tired vehicles. (f) The general accumulation of static charge on personnel in the workplace, particularly when they wear overalls made of synthetic materials. ...
