# Steam Traps:-
The steam traps are a mechanical device, which automatically allows to ejects non-condensable gases and steam condensate from the steam system, but does not allow live steam to emit from the steam system. Most of the steam traps are nothing more than automatic valves. They open, close or modulate automatically.
#Types of Steam Traps:-
(a). Mechanical steam traps:-
-Flot control steam traps (0 to 10 bar).
(b). Thermostatic Steam Traps:-
-Bellows type Steam Traps (0 to 12 bar).
-By Metallic Steam Traps (0 to 20 bar).
(c). Thermo Dynamic Steam Traps:-
- Disc Type Steam Traps (0.25 to 120 bar).
- Impulse type Steam Traps (0.25 to 120 bar).
